Jr. High 'Hookers Club' Sues California School District
Citing Title IX protection against discrimination, a group of barely pubescent pre-highschoolers sued the San Francisco County School District when their after-school prostitution club was banned from campus. The decision was initially blamed on budget constraints.
UPDATE: Under pressure from the federal government, specifically through its "Race to the Top" funding mandates, the school district's Superintendent has reversed the decision and will reinstate the club's charter. “Our school district takes a great deal of pride in our commitment to inclusivity and the importance of a judgement free learning atmosphere. All groups are appreciated and valued, no matter their level of morality or their penchant for sexually-transmitted diseases."
The budgetary concerns have been rectified by moving funds from the “Designated Pronouns Initiative" and by gutting the allocation for equipment sought by the Chemistry department.
